“There is no question that the things we think have a tremendous effect upon our bodies. If we can change our thinking, the body frequently heals itself.”
Currently Biofeedback Techniques/Tools are offered through telehealth.

Why Biofeedback?
Using Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Biofeedback together is very helpful.
Cognitive Behavior Therapy looks at your automatic thoughts, beliefs and perhaps negative self-talk, all of which may maintain or exacerbate an illness. Biofeedback looks at how the body responds to these thoughts and can help you self-regulate these responses and develop an “internal locus of control.”
I have seen over and over again how effective this approach is in treating so many conditions and illnesses.
I am a board-certified biofeedback fellow with many years of experience and that allows me to offer a variety of techniques that enhance the mind-body connection.
What is Biofeedback?
Biofeedback is a dynamic and experiential tool to help your mind and body communicate better with one another. It helps enhance awareness and communication between the mind and body. It is a process that enables an individual to learn how to change physiological activity for the purposes of improving health and performance.
Precise instruments measure physiological activity such as brainwaves, heart function, breathing, muscle activity, and skin temperature. These instruments rapidly and accurately “feedback” information to the user.
I do not consider biofeedback a “mono” or stand-alone therapy, but an excellent adjunct to my other treatment protocols for specific problems or conditions. I believe that for every emotion you have there is a physiological response. It is not uncommon for individuals not to be aware of this interaction. There are many things that we do involuntarily which can aggravate or perpetuate a given condition.
Biofeedback Therapy is a safe, non-invasive, relaxed way of helping you learn how to recognize, control, and maintain what is happening in both your mind and body. It provides opportunities for learning not available in other therapies and is appropriate for people of all ages.
What does Biofeedback help with?
Biofeedback can assist in the management of many disorders, such as:
- Chronic pain/ Illness
- Anxiety
- Trauma
- Stress
- Hypertension
- TMD (TMJ)
- Headaches
- Fibromyalgia
- PTSD
In order to initiate change you must be willing to practice new ways of using your body. Thus, it is important that you use what you learn in the therapy session outside the session, in your everyday world.
